A Grade II listed Georgian property, which housed the former Bistrot Coco restaurant and its adjoining bar Coco Beach, has been taken over by Wild Beer Co.

Jessop House will be Wild Beer Co’s first bar and restaurant.

The bar will showcase the firm’s beer range and will also serve beers of other g breweries from around the world as well as wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks and coffees.

The new owners are also launching weekend brunches.

Nicholas Calfe, director at Christie + Co’s Bristol office who handled the sale said: “The former Bistrot Coco and Coco Beach saw strong interest, particularly from investors who were keen to convert the site into a guest house, and corporate pub operators attracted to the property’s prime location.”

“On behalf of all of us at Christie + Co, we would like to wish Wild Beer Co the very best of success in their new venture and expansion plans.”

Jessop House will be opening its doors to the public on Sunday 13 September.
