The Vauxhall Griffin in Vauxhall, south London, has reopened following a £337,000 refit.

The main focus of the work was to refurbish the interior, which included a new tile and timber floor.

New licensees Kevin Tuvey and Michael Kelly said that they want to ensure that the Punch site stays at the centre of the Vauxhall community following its refit and change of ownership.

“The Vauxhall Griffin is a pub we know well. It has a great community feel and we are determined to ensure it stays at the heart of the neighbourhood,” Tuvey said.

Punch openings manager Joe Sadler said he hoped customers would appreciate the pub’s new look.
