Indian-themed late-night venue operator Funky Brownz has bought its third site — the Spanish Arch in Harrow, north-west London.

The 5,000sq foot building, which was bought for an undisclosed sum, in an off-market deal, has two bar areas, a beer garden, a 22-space car park to the front and staff accommodation.

The business is wet-led and was sold by Finbar Holian, who had owned the premises for 13 years.

Funky Brownz, which owns club-bar/restaurants with Indian cuisine and a shisha lounge in West Hendon and Hornsey, plans to revamp the new site in the same theme.

The sale was handled by Davis Coffer Lyons. Chris Bickle said: "Funky Brownz is an ideal operator for this site. The business already has a varied customer base as both a destination venue and popular local venue. Funky Brownz has an in depth understanding of the local demographic and are planning a fantastic internal fit out."
