Seven closed Brains freeholds for sale
Welsh brewer and pub operator SA Brain has put the freeholds of seven closed pubs up for sale for an average asking price of £181,429.
The company disposed of eight tenanted pubs in the year to 25 September 2010, according to its most recent accounts.
Two of the pubs are in Cardiff: the Cardiff Arms in Splott, for around £255,000, and the Mitre Inn at Canton (£195,000). Two are in Llanelli, Dyfed: the White Horse (£165,000) and the Talbot in Pwll (£150,000).
The other sites are the Mardy Hotel, Gorseinon, West Glamorgan (£255,000); the Sawyers Arms, Maesteg, Mid Glamorgan (£165,000); and Bar Charlie in Haverfordwest, Dyfed (£115,000).
The pubs are being marketed by Sidney Phillips.
