Stonegate Group’s managed cocktail bar division Slug & Lettuce has announced its second new look venue is set to open after a £650,000 transformation.

The redesigned site, which is in Birmingham’s Brindley Place and is due to open on Friday 1 March, aims to reflect the brand ethos of bringing friends, family and colleagues together to create lasting memories.

Included in the new look is a bright colour scheme, VIP booth seating alongside signature marble and terrazzo tabletops.

The bar features Instagrammable features such as mirror balls and bespoke murals, neon signs and theatrical cocktail glasses.

Customer feedback

Guests will be able to enjoy to two-for-one cocktail offer everyday from 4pm until 10pm as well the brand’s range of Boujee Cocktails including The Gold Digger – a vodka and Prosecco-based mix, dusted with glimmering gold.

Slug & Lettuce head of marketing Becky Southern said: “It’s exciting to see the second new look Slug & Lettuce take shape as we get ready to open our doors with a fabulous offer within a stunning environment.

“We have always listened to our customers to ensure the brand maintains that togetherness vibe, be it celebrate special occasions with groups of friends or to spend time with your bestie.

“The latest development brings the Birmingham Slug & Lettuce into the fold of our next generation sites as we continue to monitor and tweak the concept as we roll out.”

Demand shift

The brand reopened its flagship venue in Deansgate, Manchester following a £680,000 investment in September last year.

It was the first to receive the new look, which aimed to align with the brand’s mission to innovate and keep up with the ongoing shift in demand and trends.

The redesign followed the launch of new menus with cocktails and small plates at the core earlier this year (June).
